Digital Red Rising Board Game Adaptation Due in 2027

Emerald City Games is making a digital version of the Red Rising board game, with a release planned for 2027.

Red Rising is a science-fiction saga by Pierce Brown set on Mars, where a strict class system divides society by color.

The tabletop game, published by Stonemaier Games in 2021, draws heavily on the first three books.

The digital game will recreate the board game's rules and all 112 cards, featuring characters from rival houses.

It will add a solo mode against AI and multiplayer for up to six players across platforms.

The adaptation is intended to bring the card game to digital devices with new animations, effects and voice lines.

A playable demo is already available on Steam, while the full game's release date beyond 2027 has not been announced.
