14-year-old influencer and friend killed in Pernambuco
José Pablo, a 14-year-old influencer known as “Pablo Barbeiro Mirim,” and his 16-year-old friend were shot dead in Cachoeirinha, in Brazil’s Pernambuco state.
Their bodies were found near a commercial establishment beside the BR-423 highway around midnight on Wednesday, October 28.
Pablo had more than 1.1 million social media followers and became known for sharing his life as a young barber.
He began cutting hair in his grandfather’s garage to help his family after his mother died, and received wider attention in 2024.
Pernambuco Civil Police are investigating the deaths as a double homicide.
