Wife Urges Madiun Murder Suspect to Face the Legal Consequences

Martha Amalia Iflahah urged her husband, Dwi Bagus Martono, to face the legal consequences and not take his own life in custody.

Dwi is accused of killing his other wife, Dini Hardiyanti, and her 4-year-old son in Indonesia.

The pair had been missing since September 20, 2026, after setting out with Dwi for a birthday trip to Telaga Sarangan.

Police arrested him on October 25 after finding evidence they said linked him to the deaths.

Investigators allege Dini was killed at a hotel in Madiun and the child later in a car, and that Dwi tried to destroy and dispose of the bodies.

Dwi is being investigated for planned murder in East Java, and could face the death penalty, life imprisonment or up to 20 years in prison if convicted.
