iOS 27.3 brings customizable StandBy features to iPhone 11 and newer
Apple is bringing the iPhone Duo’s redesigned StandBy features to other iPhones with iOS 27.3.
StandBy turns an iPhone on a charger and placed sideways into a screen for viewing information at a glance.
The update supports iPhone 11 and newer models that are compatible with iOS 27.3.
Users can customize the Analog and Digital clocks, including their colors and information displayed.
New Calendar and Weather faces join the clock options, and the Photos face can show albums shared with others.
Users can save multiple versions of each face and swipe between them, such as switching from a clock to a calendar.
The iPhone Duo can use StandBy while folded or propped up without charging, but other models still need to be charging and placed sideways.
Apple expects to release iOS 27.3 publicly in December; the features are currently in a developer beta.
