Marc Marquez wins Malaysian GP and moves closer to MotoGP title
Marc Marquez won the Malaysian Grand Prix at Sepang on Sunday, riding for Ducati.
He finished 4.172 seconds ahead of Pedro Acosta, with his brother Alex Marquez third.
The victory was Marc’s seventh Grand Prix win this season and his 80th in MotoGP’s premier class.
The win strengthened his position in the 2026 MotoGP championship, though the accounts differ on his lead over Marco Bezzecchi: one gives 67 points and another 72; both say he is 44 points ahead of Jorge Martín.
