US firm Lineal buys Swiss digital forensics specialist Forentec
US technology company Lineal has acquired Swiss firm Forentec, which specializes in digital investigations.
Founded in 2015, Forentec helps banks, insurers, law firms and public authorities investigate cyber incidents, legal disputes and internal matters.
Its work includes examining digital evidence and processing large volumes of electronic data.
The deal gives Lineal an operational base in Switzerland as it expands across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
