Witkoff and Kushner delay Russia trip while seeking clarity on Ukraine proposal

US Special Presidential Envoy Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner have postponed a planned trip to Moscow.

They want to know whether Ukraine and European countries are ready to support a unified proposal for Russia.

The United States, Ukraine, the United Kingdom, France, Germany, the European Commission and NATO held talks in Miami on October 9.

Those talks ended ahead of schedule.

The proposed trip is on hold until Witkoff and Kushner get more clarity on the positions of Ukraine and its European partners.

Axios also reported that the US envoys told Ukrainian negotiators Washington could restrict Ukraine’s access to US intelligence sharing if it rejected concessions.

The sources do not say when the trip might take place.
