Harim brings back limited-edition new-harvest rice bowls

South Korean food company Harim is bringing back its seasonal instant rice made from newly harvested rice.

The product uses rice from this year’s first domestic harvest, along with water.

Harim says the rice has more moisture than regular rice, giving the cooked grains a chewier texture.

The company first sold the limited-edition product last year, when its 500,000 bowls sold out.

Advance orders run from October 12 to 18 through Harim’s Naver Smart Store, with a gift for every advance-order customer.

After that, Harim plans to sell the rice through its online store and major retail channels.

The product is part of Harim’s instant rice range, which currently includes 16 varieties.
