Mazda ends UK Mazda3 saloon sales and adds Homura Plus trim

Mazda has announced its 2027 Mazda3 range for the UK, due to arrive later this year.

The car will be sold only as a hatchback, ending UK sales of the saloon version.

The range will use a 140PS 2.5-litre petrol engine with mild-hybrid technology, and the 2.0-litre e-Skyactiv X engine will no longer be offered in the UK Mazda3.

Most trims will offer a choice of manual or automatic transmission, while the new Homura Plus adds upscale features including black leather seats, power-adjustable seats, a 12-speaker Bose system and a 360-degree view monitor.

Mazda says safety features have been improved across the range, and Aero Grey is a new paint option.

Despite the changes, UK prices will remain at the previous model's level.
