Cheonan partners with Baemin to expand online sales of local produce

Cheonan, a city in South Korea, has signed a deal with Baemin’s operator to sell more local farm products online.

The agreement is with Woowa Brothers, which runs the delivery platform, and covers produce such as Cheonan-grown pears and cucumbers.

The partners aim to expand local products on Baemin’s B Mart service and support farmers with digital marketing and joint promotions.

Cheonan has already held a cucumber promotion with B Mart and recently ran a campaign for local pears.

The city wants to move beyond short-term promotions by arranging regular seasonal listings and shared marketing.

The plan is to build a steadier online sales route so local produce can reach consumers across South Korea.
