Tonbo Imaging raises Rs 255 crore from anchor investors ahead of IPO

Bengaluru-based defence technology company Tonbo Imaging raised Rs 255 crore from anchor investors before its planned share sale.

It allotted 36.48 lakh shares at Rs 700 each, the top of its Rs 665–700 price range.

The IPO opens October 15 and closes October 19, with the company offering up to 1.22 crore shares.

The sale is entirely an offer for sale, meaning the proceeds go to selling shareholders, not Tonbo Imaging.

Tonbo makes thermal imaging systems used in surveillance, targeting and border security, and supplies government and defence agencies.

Its business is tied to India's defence technology and manufacturing sector, where government spending, orders and export opportunities will be watched.

The shares are proposed to be listed on stock exchanges after the IPO process is completed.
