Jay White Injury Changes AEW WrestleDream Match Plans

AEW has changed its WrestleDream card after injuries to several wrestlers.

Jay White was reportedly meant to compete in the Clockwork Carnage match, which will see competitors challenge AEW World Champion Will Ospreay.

Adam Copeland took White’s spot after beating Josh Alexander in a qualifying match on Dynamite.

White was injured during a pre-show match at AEW All Out, and AEW has not announced an official diagnosis; one account says he could be out for up to two months.

Jamie Hayter is not medically cleared, so the women’s tag team title match between The Brawling Birds and Wrathlander has been postponed.

Hayter was injured during a title defense at All Out, and AEW President Tony Khan said he hoped she would return in a couple of weeks.

The postponed match will take place later, but no new date has been announced.
