Russia says it downed 532 Ukrainian drones overnight

Russia’s Defense Ministry said air defenses intercepted 532 Ukrainian drones overnight over Russian regions and the Sea of Azov.

The ministry listed areas including Belgorod, Moscow, Crimea and Tatarstan, but did not give details of damage from the interceptions.

Belgorod was hit in what Vedomosti described as a large attack, with one person killed and 14 injured.

Vedomosti also reported damage to homes, vehicles and other buildings in Belgorod.

It said two men were killed in a separate drone attack on a farm company’s minibus in Bryansk region on October 24, while a Reuters headline said three people were killed and 14 injured in attacks on Belgorod region.

The reports differ on the number and location of deaths, and the available accounts do not resolve that difference.
