Jetstar Japan's nearly all-white planes arrive at Narita
Jetstar Japan's two nearly all-white planes arrived at Narita International Airport on October 29 and 31.
The aircraft are 232-seat Airbus A321LRs and will fly on popular domestic and international routes without logos.
Commercial passenger planes with no company name or other markings are rare.
The airline was established in 2011 with investment from Japan Airlines and Qantas, but Qantas is set to leave its management as Jetstar Japan changes its brand.
The white paint was chosen so the planes can be repainted easily, though some orange remains because the change was rushed.
A new brand is expected around January 2027, while the airline is also covering Jetstar logos on its existing aircraft.
