Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang Announce New Comic Series Roam
At New York Comic Con, Brian K. Vaughan and Cliff Chiang announced Roam, a new comic they are making together.
The pair previously worked on Paper Girls, which Vaughan created and Chiang illustrated.
Roam is an ongoing superhero science-fiction series set in the distant future.
Its premise is that everyone will get to be a superhero, but only while they are young.
The comic is due out in February, though no year is specified.
Vaughan also co-wrote Dune: Part Three with director Denis Villeneuve and says he has seen the film, but is keeping its details private until it reaches theaters on December 18.
Vaughan says comics remain central to his work, even as he writes for film and television.
