Paul Heyman Says Brock Lesnar Could Have Stayed UFC Champion

Paul Heyman says Brock Lesnar would have stayed undefeated in the UFC if he had not developed diverticulitis.

Heyman, Lesnar’s longtime wrestling associate, made the claim in an interview with Graham Bensinger.

Lesnar became UFC heavyweight champion and finished his MMA career with five wins, three losses and one no contest.

Heyman believes the illness cut short Lesnar’s potential in the sport.

People at WWE reportedly described Heyman’s comments as promotional talk, rather than a claim to take literally.

The oldest UFC champion was 44, while Heyman said Lesnar would still be champion at 49.

If he didn't have diverticulitis, he would've never been defeated in UFC. Never. He'd still be champion today at 49.
