Sony indefinitely delays PlayStation Pulse Elevate speakers

Sony has indefinitely delayed its Pulse Elevate speakers after quality testing found a production issue.

The wireless desktop speakers were due to launch worldwide on November 12, but Sony has not set a new date.

The product is part of PlayStation’s Pulse audio range, alongside its wireless headset and earbuds.

Sony announced the speakers in 2025 for use with PS5, PC, Mac and PlayStation Portal.

They were designed for gaming and include a built-in microphone.

Sony says the extra time will help it make sure the speakers deliver the experience it intended.

The delay leaves pre-orders and their status unclear, and Sony has not announced what will happen to them.

The company says it hopes to bring the speakers to players soon, but no revised launch timeline is available.
