Flamengo face Estudiantes with five players unavailable

Flamengo will face Estudiantes in the Libertadores semifinal in La Plata, Argentina.

The first leg is scheduled for next Thursday.

Five Flamengo players will miss the match: Arrascaeta, Ayrton Lucas, Evertton Araújo and Danilo for medical reasons, and Jorginho through suspension.

Jorginho was sent off in Flamengo’s second quarter-final match against Independiente del Valle.

Arrascaeta is recovering from surgery after breaking his left wrist in a friendly for Uruguay against South Korea.

He is expected to return only near the end of the season.

The teams meet in La Plata for the first leg, with the available Flamengo players set to take part.
