Ayush Badoni scores unbeaten 106 as Delhi reach 309 for 5
Delhi captain Ayush Badoni scored an unbeaten 106 against Jharkhand on the first day of their Ranji Trophy match in Ranchi.
He faced 122 balls, hitting 11 fours and two sixes, as Delhi finished the day at 309 for 5.
The century came after Badoni scored 217 against Gujarat in the previous round, giving him two successive three-figure scores.
Delhi had slipped to 181 for 5 before Badoni and Sumit Mathur added an unbeaten 128 runs to steady the innings.
Badoni has received a senior India call-up and played for India A, but has said he is focused on the cricket in front of him.
The match continues after the opening day, with Delhi looking to build on their position.
