New Zealand Change T20I Squad After Two Losses to India

India won the first two matches of the five-game T20I series against host New Zealand, both by four wickets.

New Zealand has changed its squad for the final three games, with fast bowlers moving in and out to manage workloads during a busy summer schedule.

Lockie Ferguson will miss the third match and return for the last two, while Matt Henry will leave the T20I squad to join New Zealand’s ODI squad.

Kyle Jamieson is available for the third T20I only before returning to the squad for the ODI series.

Blair Tickner will join for the remaining three matches, and Josh Clarkson for the final two.

The series continues in Wellington on October 27, then moves to Auckland on October 30 and Hamilton on November 1.

We’re very fortunate with the depth in the squad to be able to call upon different players to help manage our pacers’ workloads and to try and ensure they’re best placed to perform for the team for all the cricket coming up
