What people are saying
The moment that his son, who was named after his best friend who died in the line of duty, says, ‘Can’t someone else’s dad do it?’ I think the decision was made for him
It was ultimately an appropriately timed choice. I think that both the team and I knew it in one way or the other.
This feels like the right time.
