Surface Laptop 13 costs more than the better-equipped 13.8-inch model
Microsoft sells two laptops called the Surface Laptop 13 and Surface Laptop 13.8.
The 13.8-inch model’s base version has a faster Snapdragon X2 Plus processor, newer ports and a haptic touchpad.
Its screen is brighter, supports a wider range of colours and refreshes at 120 Hz for smoother motion.
That model, with 16 GB of memory and a 512 GB SSD, is available from some retailers for less than €1,300.
The 13-inch model with the same memory and storage still costs more than €1,400, despite having fewer features.
The price comparison makes the 13.8-inch model the stronger buy for now, though discounts on the 13-inch model may come later.
