Lee Jae Myung's approval rating falls to 35.3 percent
South Korean President Lee Jae Myung's approval rating fell to 35.3 percent in a Realmeter poll conducted last week.
That was down 2 percentage points from the previous week, after his rating had rebounded.
Disapproval rose to 62.3 percent, up 1.9 points.
Realmeter linked the change to concerns about housing and the economy, a stock market plunge, North Korea's threat to resume loudspeaker broadcasts, and controversy over a crime agency chief attending Cabinet meetings.
In a separate poll, the opposition People Power Party led with 42.6 percent support, compared with 36 percent for the ruling Democratic Party.
The polls suggest Lee's government is facing weak public approval, while the opposition has higher party support.
