VIPS to open Jamsil grill-dining restaurant and expand to eight locations
VIPS will open a grill-dining restaurant in Seoul’s Jamsil area on Nov.
9.
The brand is operated by South Korean food company CJ Foodville.
The concept pairs steak with seasonal dishes and adds a new restaurant design and table service.
Customers can choose cuts including tenderloin, porterhouse and tomahawk, with side dishes served alongside steak orders.
VIPS plans to expand the format to eight locations by year-end, with more branches set to reopen in Daegu, Bucheon and Suwon.
The move gives the chain more locations using its steak-focused model, and it has also extended weekday lunch service by an hour.
VIPS will open a grill-dining restaurant at Lotte Castle Plaza in Jamsil, Seoul, on Nov. 9.
The restaurant model combines high-quality steaks and seasonal dishes with new branding, interior design and table service.
VIPS plans to expand its grill-dining locations to eight by the end of the year.
The Jamsil opening follows the model’s first use at the Gwanggyo location in July.
VIPS has also extended weekday lunch hours by one hour, to 5 p.m.
