Pedro Sánchez’s La Revuelta interview draws 4.39 million viewers

Spanish Prime Minister Pedro Sánchez appeared on La Revuelta, a TV entertainment show hosted by David Broncano.

He discussed issues including housing, corruption allegations involving his Socialist Party and legal cases involving members of his family.

The conversation also included jokes and the show’s regular questions about money and sex.

The interview averaged 4.39 million viewers, with 7.13 million people watching at some point during its 1-hour-43-minute broadcast.

Its audience share rose as the programme went on, reaching a peak of 40.4% near the end.

It set a record for La Revuelta, surpassing the show’s previous high, set by singer Rosalía’s 2025 appearance.

Sánchez said he would renew the programme for four more years if he won, and confirmed he plans to appear on El Hormiguero in the coming weeks.

His visit came as political candidates were expected to make more appearances on prime-time entertainment shows during the election campaign.
