Verstappen criticises repeated Red Bull radio failures

Max Verstappen criticised Red Bull's repeated team-radio failures after Sunday's United States Grand Prix in Austin.

He said he could not hear his engineer properly while trying to report engine braking problems during the race.

Verstappen still finished third, behind winner Kimi Antonelli and Charles Leclerc.

He said the radio trouble had happened many times this season, including at the Singapore Grand Prix two weeks earlier.

Team-mate Isack Hadjar also had poor radio coverage and said he left the pits with the wrong car settings.

Red Bull team principal Laurent Mekies said the issue was making life difficult for the team, but no fix was announced.
