Sam Fender delays Newcastle ticket presale after reported bot attack
Sam Fender postponed the Newcastle presale for three shows at St James’ Park after a reported bot attack affected ticketing site Gigantic.
The shows are part of his Proper Massive stadium tour, planned for the UK and Ireland in summer 2027.
Fender said the presale would now begin at 09:30 on Thursday, 29 October, to help ensure real fans can buy tickets.
The attack was reported to affect the Newcastle sale, while presales for other shows were reported to be unaffected.
Fender had also challenged ticket prices, saying they were higher than he expected; the prices were revised and a front-standing ticket category was removed.
General sale tickets are due to go on sale Friday, 30 October, at 09:30.
