Al Taawoun fans call for Hamdallah to be substituted in defeat

Al Taawoun lost 2-1 to Al Riyadh in the Saudi Pro League’s 11th round.

During the match in Saudi Arabia, fans chanted for Abderrazak Hamdallah to be substituted, saying his performance was poor.

The Moroccan striker had a first-half goal ruled out for offside after a video review.

Coach Vuk Rašović kept Hamdallah on until the final whistle despite the crowd’s calls.

The incident came days after Hamdallah had a dispute with teammate Ashraf El Mahdioui in a previous match.

Hamdallah has scored four goals and made one assist in nine appearances for Al Taawoun this season.
