Delta Goodrem misses Strictly Icons Week after injury
Delta Goodrem has been ruled out of this week’s Strictly Come Dancing after suffering an injury.
The show is holding its fourth live competition week, themed around music icons including Mariah Carey, Shania Twain and Elton John.
Goodrem has been given a bye to next week, when she and dance partner Kai Widdrington are hoped to perform again.
The other 12 couples will dance for the judges and viewers, with routines set to songs by artists such as Aretha Franklin, David Bowie and Adele.
The professionals will perform a tribute to Madonna during Saturday’s show.
Sunday’s results show will include a Dolly Parton tribute, with singer Belles performing “Jolene” alongside dancers Amy Dowden and Kai Widdrington.
The couples are competing for judges’ marks and a place in the next week of the show.
