Rays Turn to Drew Rasmussen to Even World Series Against Brewers
The Brewers beat the Rays 3-2 in Game 1 of the World Series in Milwaukee on Friday.
A replay review overturned a double play that would have ended the game, but Tampa Bay did not score and lost its chance to tie.
Milwaukee leads the best-of-seven series 1-0, and needs three more wins for its first World Series title.
The Rays will start ace Drew Rasmussen in Game 2 on Saturday, hoping he can help them even the series.
Rasmussen has allowed three runs and 16 baserunners over 21 innings in three postseason starts, while striking out 23.
The Rays need him to pitch well and deep into the game so they can avoid relying too heavily on their bullpen.
Both teams will also look for more offense from the lower part of their lineups, which did little in Game 1.
