South Australia terminates labour hire contract for major road project
South Australia's T2D Alliance has terminated Career Boss Australia's labour hire contract for the Torrens-to-Darlington road project.
The $15.4 billion project is a major upgrade to South Road in South Australia.
Businessman Robert Cammarano's civil claim alleges that Jamie Brown tried to force the transfer of company shares using threats of physical harm; the allegations have not been resolved in court.
Premier Peter Malinauskas said the contract was ended because Career Boss had not proactively disclosed its involvement in the case.
Treasurer Tom Koutsantonis said the government would check contractors for undisclosed changes to management or shareholdings.
A parliamentary committee will question the project alliance on November 16 about what it knew and when, and Cammarano's civil case is also due back in court that day.

What people are saying
Point being that even though it's a civil dispute that's enough to give us grounds to be able to terminate them
If we find any sudden changes in directorships, sudden changes in shareholdings, if there is controversy around the country, we will terminate for convenience
what they knew and when, and when did the government alert them to this serious issue
