Mohamed asks Toluca fans for support during five-game winless run

Toluca coach Antonio Mohamed urged fans to keep supporting the team during a difficult run in Mexico’s Apertura 2026 tournament.

Toluca have gone five matches without a win, with three draws and two defeats since beating Puebla on September 15.

The club won six major titles between June 2025 and July 2026, including two consecutive Liga MX championships.

Mohamed said Toluca have lost their defensive security, and blamed the wider team, communication and coaching for the problem.

He also said players are not finding their individual form, which is hurting the team as a whole.

The coach said fans can give the team extra motivation while it works to recover.

Toluca’s next chance to end the run is an away match against León on October 24.
