Semaglutide linked to lower estimated biological age in several organs
Researchers studied blood proteins from more than 10,000 people in five trials.
They found that semaglutide was linked to lower estimated biological ages for the heart and several other organs.
These estimates come from protein patterns and do not prove that organs were rejuvenated or that people will live longer.
More research is needed to learn whether these measures are useful in medical care.
