Rebecca Siemoneit-Barum says she is 22kg lighter and happier
German actor Rebecca Siemoneit-Barum says she has lost 22kg over the past ten years and is much happier.
The 49-year-old shared the change in an Instagram post marking her birthday, with photos looking back on the past decade.
She described herself at 45 as very unhappy and at her highest weight.
She says it took several years to come through personal crises and work out what improved her quality of life.
Siemoneit-Barum is best known for playing Iffi Zenker in the German TV series Lindenstraße, where she appeared from age 12 until the show ended in March 2020, with a break.
She says she no longer fears getting older and is looking forward to what comes next.
