More than 2,000 ONTHEWEI baby bath seats recalled over drowning risk

About 2,140 ONTHEWEI-branded baby bath seats have been recalled because they can tip over during use.

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission says the unstable seats pose a risk of serious injury or death by drowning.

They were sold on Amazon in April for $40 to $50, in gray, pink, blue and mist green.

The affected seats have detachable restraint arms and suction cups underneath.

Their back labels show model number MY002 and a manufacturing date of 2026/1/10.

No injuries or deaths have been reported in connection with the recall.

Stop using the seat and contact ONTHEWEI for a full refund; the company asks customers to destroy it and send a photo as proof.
