Private investor consortium takes ownership of Lesta Games

Private investor consortium takes ownership of Lesta Games

Industrial Structures has become the owner of Lesta Games, the Russian game developer behind World of Tanks, World of Warships and Tanks Blitz.

The company says Industrial Structures represents a consortium of private investors, but the people behind it have not been named.

The transfer covers all shares in three key Lesta legal entities.

The state had owned Lesta after a 2025 court ruling transferred the company to the state; the court also banned it in Russia, according to Interfax.

Lesta says its management team and strategy will not change, and work on existing and new games will continue.

The new owner plans up to 10 billion rubles of investment in Russia’s game industry over the next three years, including through a venture fund.

It aims to release at least five new projects during that period.
