Japan Mobility Show opens for business-focused technology partnerships

The business-focused Japan Mobility Show opened on October 13 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan.

It is being held alongside CEATEC, a digital technology trade show, and runs through October 16.

The event brings together 217 companies, including startups and firms working in areas such as artificial intelligence and robotics.

Its goal is to help companies find partners to solve technical challenges they may not be able to tackle alone.

This is the second business-focused edition, following the first in 2024; the show alternates between business and consumer events each year.

At the previous edition, companies made 866 matches, including a partnership that helped Aisin improve a material used in carbon-fiber plastics.

This year, the organizers have added programs to encourage discussion and joint business projects.
