Ana de Orléans opens a new exhibition of her watercolours

Ana de Orléans opened a new painting exhibition in Spain, attended by family, friends and public figures.

The 87-year-old princess was joined by Infanta Elena and her children, including Pedro, Duke of Calabria, and Cristina of Bourbon-Two Sicilies.

The exhibition, titled *Memorias, flores y paisajes*, features personal watercolours inspired by memories, flowers and landscapes.

It is her third exhibition, following *Acuarelas con alma* in 2024.

Ana has said that painting has been part of her life through every stage, and that she began discovering what art could express when she was nine.

The exhibition offers a view of her artistic life alongside her public role as a member of a historic European royal family.

Ana thanked those who came to support her; no further events or next steps were announced.

You can paint what you see and what you do not see.

I see my watercolours as doves, as birds that fly away.

Painting on the spot is extraordinary: you see it, feel it, live it, although you have to be very quick to remember what you really want to express.
