Drishyam 3 reaches Rs 587.36 crore worldwide after five weeks

Ajay Devgn’s Drishyam 3 has earned Rs 587.36 crore worldwide after five weeks in theatres.

The film follows Vijay Salgaonkar, whose family he once protected by outsmarting the law.

In this instalment, Vijay faces renewed scrutiny as Meera Deshmukh returns with a motive for revenge and a Crime Branch officer examines his alibis.

The film is Rs 12.64 crore short of Rs 600 crore in worldwide earnings.

India has brought in 77.3% of its global revenue, while overseas markets contributed 22.7%.

Its daily earnings have dropped sharply: on November 5, it made Rs 5 lakh net in India, down 90.9% from the previous day.

The film remains in theatres, but its slowing run could make reaching the Rs 600 crore milestone difficult.
