Honda CG 160 2027 adds flex engine and safety features

Honda has updated its CG 160 motorcycle lineup in Brazil for the 2027 model year, as the family marks 50 years of production in the country.

The entry-level Start now has a flex engine that accepts gasoline or ethanol, making every version flex-fuel.

All four versions—Start, Cargo, Fan and Titan—get a USB-C port and a new headlight-flasher control, while prices range from R$ 17,778 to R$ 21,098.

The top model, the Titan, adds a system that flashes its indicators during hard braking to warn traffic behind it, along with hazard lights and LED turn signals.

The Titan remains the only version with ABS and disc brakes on both wheels; the other versions use CBS braking, which links the brakes.

The updated motorcycles are due in dealerships from November, and Honda says they come with a three-year warranty with no mileage limit.
