Heated Rivalry season one to screen in cinemas

Heated Rivalry’s first season is getting cinema screenings in several countries while fans wait for season two.

The series follows hockey players Shane Hollander and Ilya Rozanov, rivals who develop a relationship, and is based on Rachel Reid’s novels.

The screenings are planned for the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom, with Australia and New Zealand also set to host them later.

The sources give different start dates for the first screenings: November 3 and November 6, 2026.

France is not among the announced countries, leaving French fans without these cinema showings.

Season two is planned for 2027 and will follow Shane and Ilya a decade later, adapting Reid’s novel The Long Game.

The theatrical run offers fans a chance to revisit the show before its return, though no exact release date for season two is confirmed.
