South Korean biotech firms to present blood cancer research at ASH 2026

Several South Korean biotech companies will present blood cancer research at the American Society of Hematology’s annual meeting in New Orleans this December.

Curocell plans to share long-term follow-up data for its CAR-T treatment Limmcato, including outcomes tracked for up to 44.5 months.

Among patients who kept a complete response for at least six months, the reported three-year survival rate was 81.6%, and the rate without disease progression was 63.0%.

GC Cell will present early results from a phase 1a trial of cell therapy GCC2005; no dose-limiting toxicities or serious treatment-related side effects were reported, and some patients had complete responses that lasted.

LegoChem Biosciences plans to present preclinical results for its CD33-targeting drug LCB122A, while HLB Innovation’s US subsidiary will share interim phase 1 results for its CAR-T treatment SynKIR-310.

The findings are early-stage research, and the companies say they plan to continue clinical development, including a global phase 1 trial of LCB122A for patients with relapsed or refractory acute myeloid leukemia.
