Italy launches search tool for 4,700 tax provisions
Italy’s Economy and Finance Ministry has launched TrovaTU, a search tool for tax rules.
It is designed for citizens, professionals and businesses looking for rules in the country’s new unified tax texts.
The tool lets users check where a provision appears, whether it has been changed or repealed, and compare its original and reorganised wording.
More than 4,700 tax provisions have been gathered into eight texts, after being spread across more than 440 laws and other legal measures.
The reorganisation is part of Italy’s tax reform and aims to make the rules clearer and easier to consult.
The eight texts take effect on January 1, 2027.
Professionals are expected to assess how well the reorganised rules work.
