NDRC Grand Final to be held at The Bend for the first time

The NDRC Grand Final will be held at The Bend in Tailem Bend, South Australia, from October 22 to 25.

More than 200 cars and bikes are expected at the four-day SPRY Spring Nationals.

It is the first time the championship decider has been staged outside Queensland.

National titles in several categories will be decided on Sunday, October 25, with some championship battles still close.

In drag racing, two competitors launch from a standing start on a straight course, and reaction time and speed decide the winner.

Top Fuel dragsters can exceed 500 km/h over the 305-metre course in less than 3.8 seconds.

The event opens with a free Test & Tune on Thursday, October 22, before competitive racing begins.
