Fallout 4 mod adds the town of Detour, with quests and voiced characters
A group of veteran modders has added a new town called Detour to Fallout 4.
It sits on a ruined freeway near Sanctuary, the game’s starting area, and Bedford Station.
Players can visit shops, rent a room, buy a house and meet more than a dozen voiced characters.
The town has more than 600 lines of dialogue, and some residents appear set to offer quests.
Its creators plan to expand Detour over time as a new quest hub.
The mod draws on the team’s earlier work making story-focused quests for the game.
Players need the Nuka World DLC to use it, and an optional patch supports the Reputation mod.
