Five injured in three-car crash in Dottikon, including two children
A 22-year-old driver collided with two cars on the Othmarsingerstrasse in Dottikon, in Switzerland’s Aargau canton.
Police say her Volkswagen crossed into the oncoming lane and hit a Skoda, then a BMW.
The Skoda overturned but landed on its wheels, while the Volkswagen overturned and came to rest on its roof beside the road.
Five people were taken to hospital, including the driver, the other two drivers and two children aged 9 and 12.
They had light to moderate injuries, and all three cars were written off.
Police say a medical problem is the main possibility being examined, and they have opened an investigation into the cause.
The 22-year-old’s licence was provisionally taken away, while the road was closed for about three hours during recovery work.
