Indonesia reports top companies in truck violations as it targets Zero ODOL
Indonesia’s transport authorities are monitoring freight vehicles as the country works toward a 2027 target to end oversized and overloaded trucks.
From January through October 30, 2026, checks at 89 weigh stations found more than 676,000 vehicles with violations.
Document problems were the most common violation, followed by excess loads; authorities also recorded dimension, loading-method and technical violations.
The five companies with the most violations were PT SIL, PT EW, PT IP, CV SKE and PT SA, though the figures do not specify the types of violations for each company.
Only 30.32% of violating vehicles were formally acted against, mostly with warnings, while some received tickets.
The authorities say they will continue monitoring weigh-in-motion and online weighbridge data, coordinate with regional offices and review violation trends.
Indonesia’s transport ministry reported the five companies with the highest numbers of truck violations as it works toward its Zero Over Dimension Over Loading target for 2027.
PT SIL topped the list with 2,544 vehicles recorded in violation, followed by PT EW, PT IP, CV SKE and PT SA.
From January 2026 to October 30, more than 676,000 vehicles were recorded as having violations at 89 operating vehicle-testing sites.
Document violations were the most common category, while the ministry said 205,016 violating vehicles were subject to enforcement.
