Suroso Isnandar replaces Darmawan Prasodjo as PLN chief
On October 14, PLN shareholders appointed Suroso Isnandar as the company’s new chief at a meeting in Indonesia.
He replaces Darmawan Prasodjo, who had led the state-owned electricity company since December 2021.
Suroso previously directed project management and renewable energy at PLN, a role he took up in June 2025.
The change affects only the president director post; a PLN commissioner said there were no other leadership changes.
Suroso will temporarily hold both positions until someone is appointed to replace him in his previous role.
The handover follows a period in which Darmawan carried out changes at the company, and PLN’s commissioner said he expected Suroso to continue that work.
