Chris Jericho says TV series about his early career nears pilot stage
Chris Jericho says a TV series about his early wrestling career is nearing a pilot.
The project is based on his 2007 autobiography, *A Lion’s Tale: Around the World in Spandex*.
The book follows his years in wrestling before joining WWE in 1999, including work across different promotions and countries.
Jericho says the story needs a series rather than just a film to cover those stages.
An actor from the Canadian comedy series Letterkenny is being considered because he resembles Jericho when he was young.
Jericho has not named the actor, and no casting has been officially announced.
The team is expected to move toward filming a pilot soon, but no schedule or release details were given.

I won’t say who it is in Letterkenny but, there is a real facial similarity.
