Assassin’s Creed Hexe Reportedly Delayed to 2028 as Two Games Leak

Ubisoft is reportedly developing two new Assassin’s Creed games, though the projects have not been officially announced.

One, codenamed Mars, is said to be a traditional game set in ancient Rome.

The other, codenamed Pocket, is described as a mobile game set in Jerusalem and inspired by challenges in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla.

Insider Gaming says it has heard the codenames but could not independently verify the projects.

The same outlet says Assassin’s Creed Hexe has been pushed back to 2028 from an expected 2027 release, while other reports suggest it could be shown next year.

Hexe was first teased in 2022 and is set in the 17th-century Holy Roman Empire, with a more magical tone.

Ubisoft has promised to share more about Hexe next year, and Mars may not be released or revealed until 2029 or 2030 at the earliest.
